Chapter 80
Truthful words are not beautiful; beautiful words are not truthful.
Those who are skilled do not argue; those who argue are not skilled.
Those who know are not widely learned; those who are widely learned do not know.
The sage does not accumulate. The more he does for others, the more he himself possesses. The more he gives to others, the more he himself has.
The Way of Heaven benefits all things and does not harm. The Way of the sage acts on behalf of all and does not contend.
