The constant Way acts without forcing, yet nothing remains undone.
If lords and kings could hold to this, the ten thousand things would transform of themselves.
When transformation stirs desire to act, I would settle it with the nameless uncarved block.
The nameless uncarved block - this too brings about desirelessness.
Without desire, through stillness, all under heaven will settle of itself.
