Courage in daring leads to death; courage in not-daring leads to life.
These two approaches - one brings benefit, the other brings harm.
What Heaven abhors - who can truly know the reason why?
This is why even the sage finds it difficult.
The Way of Heaven: without contending, yet excelling at overcoming; without speaking, yet excelling at responding; without summoning, yet things come of themselves; unhurried and relaxed, yet excelling at planning.
Heaven's net is vast and wide; though its mesh is loose, nothing slips through.
